Just got my reverse cowl vented hood

fitment is nice, ill take better pictures when its painted. It's fresh out of the mold so I have to wait for it to cure for 2 weeks.

anywhere, here are pics. Its closing with the stock hood latch for now. It will be pinned as well.

It helps with cooling a LOT since i have FMIC/koyo. The air now has somewhere to go.

oh yeah, from atihun.com

Looks good. You're right, it will look better when painted, but the workmanship looks great

That's the hood I designed(stole from Mazdaspeed), and Attila had made for my race car. You may want to enlarge the openings a bit, I'll post pics when I do mine.It will also benefit from cantilevering the back up ~1.5" or so. My oil temps are 150, water 170 cruising with this hood.

I was thinking bout enlarging them a bit.. I'm going to see how it does normal first.

my temps were high from the big IC up front.. but from the first time i took it out they seem better.. waiting for a real hot day to see if it did the trick.

so how is yours holding up? it seems to be pretty sturdy once its latched in.

pic of massive air blocking intercooler =]

That looks absolutely awsome. It's the perfect reverse vent hood for our cars. I want one I think I will make the vents bigger though..Also I will have to research the maker of your hood...I want one that comes close in quality to Dave's at fc3s...
