Just got my rebuild done..
Finished puttin the engine together finally. just got the bare block sitting there now
Rotating the engine produces 6 healthy swooshes.. yay!
Got the front cover and flywheel on..waiting till tomorrow to put the oil pan and other stuff on.
One question... the distributor gear it says to put it "chamfered edge toward the housing" .. I hope that means put the beveled edge toward the front of the engine?

to put the crank angle sensor in you line up one of the timing marks on the main pulley and the gear on the sensor. i forget which marks to line up exactly, but the factory manual is on fc3s.org if you dont have it and it will tell you. take the cover off the crank angle sensor so that you can make sure it does not move as you put it in place.
this will get you in the ballpark and the timing will be good enough for the car to start. use a light to set it properly when you get it running.
