800

its got 103k on it haha,
but its got its problems,
mainly is that it is incredibly loud, i think its missing the midpipe or something,
and the shifter is very very very loose.
its also a minnesota car, its got a little rust.
and when it starts i have to hold the key turned and let the engine turn for a good
couple seconds before it actually starts.

like i said i dont know much about these cars but im reading.
so far ive read that i can fix the shifter problem with bushings,
and the exhaust is pretty much self explanatory.
but the engine starting problem i dont know much about,
does it have something to do with compression.

From what I read, it is pretty common for a rotary to take longer than a poston car to start. Mine usually takes about 3-4 seconds, and it only has 10K miles on an atkins rebuild.

welcome to the dark side and get ready for a ride cause these cars are amazing once you start to tune them and learn em.

just remember to change all fluids sparkplugs wires and filters this weekend.

find sites like fc3s.org rx7.com and rotaryressurection.com those will help you to learn about you car.

take a look at the FAQ and the rest of the very good info on this website. also search before you post about any problems.

Not to mention, KEEP THE ENGINE OILED. I'm relatively new as far as learning and tuning rotaries but I've seen too many die because of deprivation of oil.

If you do turbo be very careful because you can detonate you engine very easy if you dont know much about rotaries.
