Thumbs up Just A Few Questions

I am new the RX7's and the rotary engines and i just had a few beginner questions.
I have a 91 Convertable N/A that has 90K on it. when i start it in the morning and when its been sitting for a while sometimes i smell a little gas but as soon as it warms up a little i dont smell it anymore. i was wondering if this was normal. because i was reading about that dampener thing that is defective. also i know that some oil gets burned in the engines and i was wondering what are some of the best oils to use for this car NON synthetic please. i sometimes get a slight squeaking noise from the clutch when i shift and give it gas in mid cluch. pressure plate? also, the idle isnt as smooth as other cars ive own and considering the different engines i was wondering if idles are just a bit rougher with rotaries. and finally are the brake systems in these cars closed, or can you bleed the brakes and service them on your own? thanks for taking the time.

well everything that you listed as a problem is mostly normal, minus the clutch. i use a 10w30 castrol blend oil, and yes the brakes are servicable...just as easy as any car ive ever worked on. clutch problem sounds like a bearing issue. most of the 7s ive had never idled as perfect as a brand new car, you can get them to idle better but it takes alot of work such as replacing vacuum lines, having your injectors flow tested and cleaned checking your fuel pump/filter and pressure, tuning the car up including and o2 sensor and possibly your cats. if you have time and money to initially invest, and perfect idle is important then do a search, ive seen a few writeups here about achieving better idle.
