just dropped in a new engine but need some advice

i just swapped over engines to this new shell i have. everythings okay. i have a small vacuum leak that i kno of.
i turn my car on and it does the warm up process but how long does the warm up process REALLY take?
or is it because of the vacuum leak that it revs up and down?
it drives great since i just installed a new clutch and replaced the oils.
does anything on the car rely on the stock sensors as in the radiator TEMP sensor,
and the oil temp sensor since im going to replace them with new ones.
i just put in a new temp gauge but it doesnt seem like its working.. it stays down
doesnt raise up as if the car is still cool which i highly doubt.
and i have a oil pressure gauge i havent put in.
any helps appreciated. i'll put pics up later of the gauges and where im going to put the sensors.

Do the rpm's bounce during the accelerated warmup or after it is warmed up?

How far down does it stay? The normal range for a N/A is about 1/4th of the way up.

the warm up process never ends.
i drove it around the block for awhile driving it in the higher rpms majority of the time to help warm it up quicker
and nothing. it still revved up and down bouncing at a steady rythm though.
my gauge doesnt MARK anything. i plugged everything right i RE-plugged all the connections and still nothing. im beginning to think i have a faulty gauge.

Does it rev up to 3000rpm or does it bounce between ####rpm and 3000rpm?

i figured it out.. its a two pin plug that plugs in the back of the UIM that wasnt plugged in..
AND, a vacuum leak through the crack on the LIM and too much slack on the throttle cable..
i had another question tho.
when i did hard launches with the vacuum leak it felt way stronger through gears,
and now after i fixed it and the idle, it kinda of feels weak.. somewhat feels like it boggs.
is there anyway to fab up a way to put a breathe hole in the LIM i can open/ close freely?
what i figured is that with the crack, it was as if i ported the IM since more air was flowing in..
even tho my lower RPMs suffered a little bit.. mostly due because of the slack of the throttle cable.
any ideas guys?
