Just did throttle body mod
Interesting to feel the difference. Very smooth revving, especially after 4K rpm. I'm considering removing the bac now. Any tips? Also, I have a 89-91 upper and middle intake. Will this match up to my lower intake on my 88 N/A?

I'm thinking about doing it, but am concerned about any drawbacks. What advantages did you see? Is it rough untill it warms up?
Whould you recomend doing it for power/performance?

the only difference is when you start the car but I always let it warm up until I get a nermal reading on the O2 this gives it just enough. It only take about 10 sec and your good to go. I have herd of a 10 hp gain. it definetly runs better and troughs more flames.

you mean, you only have to sit there for 10 sec. before the car will idle on its own?i have been thinking about doing this also, but i'm a bit concerned about early mornig cold starts...i live in the pacific northwest, and we do have lots of'em...but sound like it will idle pretty good then, even w/o the cold start...yes?also, i have looked at my tb,where can you port the thing?i mean, unless you put bigger throttle plates in,how can you inlarge the passages?

I didn't port anything, but I did notice a much smoother flow in the upper rpm range. I'm having just a little trouble getting my idle to exact specs, but not too much of a problem. If you live in cold weather, hmmmm I don't know if you'd wanna do this. Considering you've done just about everything else, you probably wouldn't notice too much of a difference. I live in Hawaii, so cold weather is never a problem. Take off and slow down is a little abrubt, but it's not too bad. Anyway, it's an easy mod. Took me about 90 minutes start to finish.

Is this applicable to 1988 Turbo II??
Would this help quicker throttle response?? Mine seems to take a little long to rev up. Compare to other regular passenger cars like a Honda that my Dad has, my TII seems to take some time from idling to 3000~4000 rpm..
