You seem to be on the right track, especially with removing weight. How bout a cold air box or header? Also have you removed the power steering, air pump, charcoal canister? What about pulleys? Suspension? Any goals here, like HP or times? Could go with a small shot of NOS

What do you plan to do with the car? Drag racing will set you in one direction, autocross another. Just be sure you check the rules of whatever organization you race with so you don't screw yourself out of being as competitive as possible.

first off, thanks for your posts,I plan on drag racing .
there is really no where to autocross around here without
driving some distance.but it sounds like fun!
I forgot to mention that I have already removed the
air pump,I plan on removing the power steering pump
and a/c(thank god for sun roof )I am cosindering NOS
another power Idea is putting on an old paxton supercharger
I've had laying around for several years collecting dust.
I would have to fab up new mounting kit but I could do it
do you guys think this is possible?NOS would be a whole
lot easyier..I need headers too.
any Ideas would be appreciated
