Just curious, but would this have SERIOUSLY F*cked my car?
I think the engine in my 87TII is officially finished, killed again by detonation. This is the second time it happened. But just before my 2nd engine died, I had an oil leak problem with my turbo seals and so I started using 20w50 oil. It still leaked oil into my exhaust, so I bought some Barhaul STOP SMOKE & STOP LEAK additive and threw that in there. It instantly cured the problem! No more smokin' TII. Then ran like that for 2 weeks until my engine went...just wondering if adding that **** in did anything bad to the engine. I WANT to know, so I don't try this again for my NEXT engine if it was a BAD idea!

I have no idea what this **** is, but anything you add to your oil that doesnt burn AND doesnt burn FULLY will eventually kill your engine Same thing as with synthetic vs. mineral, or oil additives that "improve" performance...

my last engine started smokin BADLY, so i used some cheap stop smoke additive... the engine was dead about a week later..
do you blame the smoke? or the stop smoke?... i leave you to ponder..

I've used that stop smoke additive before...it's been about 35K miles ago, but no smoke and engine is running strong.
Maybe I just got lucky......
