just curious about omp

iv herd on here that the s5's use a electric omp or mop, just wondering, is this useless since im swaping my s5 motor into a s4? i know i have to swap the omp but i needed to know if there is any way at all to make it work. its that or block it off and run premix. also, just so i dont have to post a new thread for this, where can a get block off plates since k2rd's websight is down, if i cant use the omp i need on for that too/

You need the S5 ECU to run the electronic OMP, and you really don't want to go there. To use the mechanical OMP you will need to swap the S4 front cover and TB onto your S5 block. You need to swap the injectors too, as the plugs are different.

Block off plates ca be easily made from scrap pieces of 3mm aluminium plate. All you need is a jigsaw (or hacksaw), a drill and a file.

Throw them away and plug the injector holes.

I choose to keep my omp. I'm to lazy to add premix every time. If u search u should be able to find the right stuff.
