Leave it stock, IMO. It is the rarest Rex, and therefore I would keep it stock. But it is your car..so whatever....

 

eh, i say why have a car and not mod it? also have you checked the compression? and that time seems about right, what was your 60'?

 

could be cloged cats, cloged 5th and 6th ports, check the tps, check injectors, clutch, struts, and other engine stuff. then get a full exhaust and intake and watch those times drop.

 

What would make the and only the 5th & 6th ports cloged? i know the cat is mucked up beond all help, its coming out. Is it ok to pull the Air Pump off the car? will i have any side effects?

 

Mine is rare? Is it worth much money to people other than me? I have all ready decied on doing Mods its just a question of which ones in what order. thanks for the tip thoght

Congratulations on your purchase. I agree..Check compression before modding. That is truley a rare car, treat it well

 

is it a 89 or 90? very rare. I think 500 in 90. maybe 1500 or so in 89. as long as it is a "GTUs" and not a "GTU"

 

oh, i did not know that. information is power! Its An 89 GTUs i am told that its eveything a turbo car has with out the turbo. is that true? How do i check the compression on this little rex that couldn't?

 

Fix all its problems!! Then think about upgrading. However, its never a bad time to invest in exhaust, you can always sell it later if things don't work out.
