ok, its a 88 i believe, got hit on front right headlight and bumper but the motor wasnt damaged, nuttin else, interior is in very good shape, motor has 140,000 miles...of course, in a junkyard, its flooded....so, after bout 10 mins, i got it to run....has a very good throttle response. how much would you pay for it?

the guy wants $400, i would only go to $300. what do you guys think??

 

How bad was it hit?? I think either 300 or 400 for a running rex is a steal.

 

the body work and painting alone are going to be 3000 dollars....Find something with a straight body and a running egine.

****, get that **** man, find another rex with a blown/missing engine and a straight body, motor swap/body swap, whichever, get it man, you cant get much of a running car for 400 anymore

 

it was not hit very badly...the right light is gone, needs new bumper, new right fender, tats all...but then again, if i were to buy it, tat wouldnt matter to me, since i will jsut pull tha motor, but they will only sell me tha whole car. but at 140,000 miles already, am i jsut avoiding the inevitable?, or is it a good deal right now?

oh, also, there is a black turbo II sitting there tooo...body has not been hit, interior is fuked though, i coudlnt get this one to start, only turns over and back fires.. also, after a few cranks, it drains my battery severely, wat would cause this? adn the positive lead on tha battery becomes hot as hell too!!..is there a short somewhere???

the guys said he would give me both for $1200, so i could prob get it at $1000. but i told him i only wanted tha n/a, tats why it was $400...

another delimnma, i have no place to put two more rx7s. now, unless someone were interested in these cars, i might consider buying it and selling it back. just a thought...am in atlanta by the way.

i just go around looking in junkyards mann and see wat i can get. sometimes u get lucky, sometimes u dont. tats one of the good things i like bout rx7s is tat alot of peepo dont kno anything bout it watsoeva and simply throws it away, and all we have to do is find em

Where in ATL you at?? And which junkyards you looking at? I know of one really that usally has some nice cars. Have seen FD's, FC's, 3000gt, 1gen DSM and quite a few others. I dont remember the name off the top of my head but i believe it is Red Barn Auctions or something like that. Its off of peachtree industrial but i cant remember the interesction its at. Its real close to Lake Lanier so if you come or live up here ill try and find it for you if you would like.
