junk yard 7 a possible treasure?

k i have been scavanging parts off this car since i have found it about 3 months ago. i dont know what model it is, but this is what it has: 5 lug 4 piston setup. lightweight hood(compared to mine) sun roof, manual windows and rear seats. the rx7 is a sticker and all other badges have been removed. it is an s4 because of the tails and gauge. what model is it? is it special enough to get it?

Special, no.

Sounds like a cross between an '86 Luxury and '86 GXL.

I want the rear seats if they're burgandy.

Most junk yard won't sell their cars whole.

Also if it is an 88, the it is probably an 88 GTU, which is pretty rare.

Sports never had a rear seat option and the sunroof option was very rare on them. That doesn't sound like a sport to me.

As I was saying, it sounds like an '86 Luxury, but the only thing out of place is the 5-lug setup.

Sports have 5-lugs, but do not have rear seats.

GXL's have everything listed and can have rear seats, but always have power windows.

Base models have 4 lug setups.

As you can see, the options you list really don't match any factory setups.

Look at the differential, and see if it has an LSD tag on it. It will be really obvious if it is there.

Take pics of the car and post in the for sale section who needs what parts and you can make some decent profit, pretty much like parting out a car that isn't yours.

it is an aluminum hood, and its like the dark silver gray color. i might take that though. dont know how much he wants for it, prolly round 50-75 plus shipping. this guy likes the $50-75 range alot. what i have gotten oil line 50 engine core 75, sun roof 50, both coils and comp 75. kinda like that.
