jumping fuel presure, no power, Please help.

Well I had my brother in law check my fuel presure because the car was jumpy sounding at idle and the presure is jumping between 35 and 36 1/2 psi. What could be causing this? And the car has no power. The compression is good so lay off that crap I'm not an idiot. So theres no power and its dumping to much gas into the engine to burn it all and the fuel presure is jumping. AFM and TPS? Help me out here brotha's.

Why would it be putting so much fuel in that it runs off into the exhaust? And my car is so hard to get up to speed. Whats the deal?

You don't say what your test conditions were--at idle,at power, pressure regulator disconnected, hot cold or what. You should see about what you saw if the engine is not running when you tested--as the man says +/-1psi means squat. At idle with the fuel pressure regulator vac line connected look for 28/29psi.
Other reasons for fuel dumping--temperature sensors out of wack, stuck injector(s) etc,etc
