Jspec vs US ecu
I have an extra Jspec ecu and watnted to upgrade my ecu with a Rtek 1.8 so I was thinking about sending that in instead.
Is there any difference between the us and jspec ecu for a s4 turbo?
Theres not much info on there website besides *N332 & N333 ECUs only.

I wouldn't count on it running well without a lot of troubleshooting. The car will probably be down just as long as it will take Rtek to get your ecu back to you anyway. Instead, spend the downtime installing the injectors, so you can just slap the ecu in and go.
There is very limited information available on S4 Jspec ECUs. Pocketlogger won't take them, so don't send one in. As for using one temporarily in your car, it may work, but you may run into problems like S5 owners have with the j-spec S5 ECU (N374). There's no information on the ECU pinouts to be sure you won't plug something into the wrong in and fry a circuit.
I was wondering the same thing because I just bought a car that has a motor from Oasaka Motors and it doesn't idle correctly but I have not gone far enough to check to see what ECU is in it, I will look tomorrow.
