Jspec TPS
I was looking at the TPS from the S4 Jspec motor I put in my car last year. It is still attached to the throttle body that I chose not to use.
I noticed that it is a six wire configuration with 2 plungers.
My original TPS (still in use) appears to be a single plunger, 3 wire version.
What's the deal?
Is the S5 TPS a 2 plunger??
ANy way of putting the Jspec TPS to work in my car?

That's an '89-91 TPS - one is narrow range like the early TPS's, and the other is full-range for the electronic oil metering pump.
The mounting on the throttle body is different, too.
If it's good, you can easily sell it and buy the right TPS.

Why would the Series 5 TPS be on a Series 4 motor??
Did they run this dual plunger TPS on Series 4 motors over there?
The motor I bought was complete and had a manual OMP.

We have found that the J-spec engines are not as strict in terms of "components" than US-spec engines.  We've found electric oil metering pumps on Zenki J-specs in addition to the double TPS variants.  Maybe the previous owner swapped ECU's or TB's???
