JSPEC TII Manifold Question

What is the purpose of the vacuum line between the 2 Injector ports on the Lower Intake Manifold?

i think it equalizes some kind of pressure. they have a bunch of stuff like that on the t2's, theres the one that goess between the back of the ic to the upper intake?
i really wonder why
