jspec engine...anyone bought from this company?
Has anyone bought an engine from http://www.enginelandinc.com ? I found a nice turbo II with computer, accessories, tranny and fmic for 900. Its an s5 engine as well . I thought about rebuilding my engine but i highly doubt it's worth it. The car has 215xxx miles and has NOT been taken care of so a new engine with more pep that i could just drop in its place sounds pretty good to me.

sorry, didnt mean to put up that it has a fmic. Im awaiting an email about if a wiring harness is included and about shipping. If the harness is not included, where can I find one, if I were to buy the engine?

Damn... I would say for 900 you cant realy go wrong for all that stuff. even if the engine needed a rebuild you would spend about the same for the entire thing as if you bought it from somewhere else, and you would have a freshly rebuilt motor.

thanks for the link, i am also looking for a motor.
i would not do business with JdmEngineDepot however. i tried buying an S5 TII motor from them in early feburary, sent payment (after confirming both price and that it would be s5 twice) mid feburary. recieved motor mid March. wrong motor. called them, took a week for them to be willing to talk to me. wanted me to sell the wrong motor loccally and buy the right motor fomr them for a higer price. then they wanted me to pay to have them ship me the motor i actually bought. then they wanted me to pay extra for the s5 motor becuase they sold me it at the wrong price. finally they gave up and offered me full refund including shipping for their motor. got that check mid april. not happy with that experince.
