real tight... don't like the idea of the turbo being that close to the manifold, we might port match a t2 lower...

Im amazed as well with the output at such a low boost level. What are all his mods and any porting? Im assuming hes running a Microtech as well? Thats awesome.

"Here is my buddy's setup. He did it all himself. T04R, 460hp at 13psi"

Not on a 2 rotor. Maybe 23psi but sure as hell not 13

I'd say 460 HP is do-able on a T04R.

With decent tuning atleast..

Maybe FWHP??

I'm doing the same thing with my turbo n/a setup, i haven't started portmatching yet though, i dont even have near what i need to do my conversion, just a turbo/manifolds sucks being poor, your setup is going to be hot, more pics, make a write up , if you keep the bac or anything emission related take pics of how your hooking everythin up to the manifolds.

all emissions are going to be removed. i can't really see doing a setup like this and putting that much effort to stay legal, when you can space a stock turbo and run the whole car with the n/a electronics.

I'm moving to Asia monday and would really like to see this project run before then.

What did you guys do to the 6port block? Aren't you afraid it's gonna pop, Or are you guys going to rebuild it?

The 6 port block is EXACTLY the same as the 4 port turbo block, save for the obvious port differences and compression ratio.

I know but why go through the trouble of putting it on a 100k+ block if it has the chance to crap out real fast? (assuming it has more than 100k mi.s like most n/a's

Same could be said of a TII block.

Most TII's blow a little after 100k though. It's still a sick project, I wish I had turbo'd my 6port instead of swapping it out.

Its on a 6 port just to do it, plus there is more air intake on a six port block and higher compression, so we will be able to get more hp and torque out of this block. How long it lasts depends on how well its tuned and if we have the right fuel setup.

you tell 'em how it is man! Good luck i hope it lasts, this is going to be a crazy setup. Any speculation on where RPM wise you'll actually start to see boost?
