JDM TII swap: troubleshooting

JPG attached. Blacik/White is switched 12vdc and Black/White goes to the CPU near the drivers left foot.

Look at the second jpg. It shows the orange plug called X15. If you cut those two wires, the ones that are BrR (brown with red stripe) and the BrB (brown with black stripe) back from that plug a couple of inches and then splice your two NEW wires to the alt to them, most of the problem using a Turbo EM harness will be taken care of.

You'd want to splice the NEW two wires to the cut piece of wire that is still attached to the plug and then DEAD END the other half of the wires. Especially the Brown/Red wire since it'll have the voltage output from the boost sensor on it and you don't want to dead short that wire. The brown/black is just a gnd wire that goes to all the sensors in the EM harness and nothing real bad would happen if it touched gnd.

Is it correct to assume that we do not have to modify the wires on the S5 models doing the swap?
