All of the seals - apex and side - have been successfully removed from both rotors along with the little springs. We are in a happy place!

 

Hey I am looking into getting an fc for a second car. I am fairly knowledgeable in the turbo department and have a decent amount of experience with reciprocating motors but none with rotaries, not to sound weird but if u need help or and extra hand in doing the swap I would love to learn about the rotaries. I also have a friend that is having his Turbo II being rebuilt with 3mm seals and a hardcore streetport, but he just payed to have it all done. Not the way i like to do things but thats what he did and now he can offer no assistance to my quest. So i offer you my help.

 

This project is really a father/son deal so I'm not really looking for help (the kid needs to clean parts!) but if you'd like to come over and see where we are and what it looks like inside you're certainly welcome.
