JDM T2 Throtle Cable Problem

I had a thread earlier, but it seems to have disapeared. The Throtle Cable on my JDM T2 Engine was cut before I got it. The Throtle Cable that I have purchased of a USDM T2 doesn't seem to fit. My terminology sucks, so bear w/ me. The tip of the cable that connects to the throtle is fine,, but the part near it that connects to the clip that you tighten so it saYS IN PLACE....so when you pull the cable it pulls the trottle seems to come up short. I can put it in its place, but the throttle seems to be pulled back a lot w/ cery little give which I would believ would make it rev a LOT all the time. It won't go back to the complete(or near it at all) relaxed position. Is the clamp on the USDM a little different, in which case can/should I but the clip off of the US model. My only guess noe is that the USDM clip is an inch or so closer. My guess is that it is and would bolt up the same as the JDM Clip. Or is the S5 Throttle Cable a little different then the S4 and all I have is S4 Throtle cables? Please let me know if you have had thei problem, or if this makes any sense.
