JDM S5 t2 throttle cable mount
I did a bit of searching on this topic but couldnt find anything definitive.....I have a s5 jdm engine in a s5 n/a chassis.....what is the correct way to support/mount the throttle cable? As you all know, the jdm rhd setup doesn't have the "looping" throttle cable that the usdm t2s have. There doesn't seem to be a place to mount the cable in the middle part of the loop...I have it connected to the throttle body and i have it mounted near the TMIC bracket (close to where cable enters firewall, but the cable sags between those 2 points since its not supported. Any ideas? Thanx

My BAC doesnt have that clip on it......there wouldn't be a need for that clip on a jdm bac since the throttle doesn't loop around...I did see that clip in some pics when i searched tho....mustve been pics of a usdm t2 or atleast usdm bac with the clip

I have used a JDM s5 intake manifold and throttle cable bracket with a USDM s4 turbo throttle cable and cruise control cable. It required heavy modification of the bracket and cables using a grinder and bench grinder.
