JDM manifold brake booster

Alright so I have a JDM LIM and UIM. I know where the brake booster is supose to be on the JDM mannifolds. but its been filled in with JB weld or some ****. So I was wondering whether I should just run the USDM uper with the proper brake booster nipple on JDM lower, or is there somthing I can do to mod the JDM UIM to work? what size hole and barb would be needed. The JDM one is in better condition than mine. also is there any differace in performance over one or the other? if it doens't matter I can just roll with it.

Pics would be arpreciated.

Take your brake booster line and fitting and switch it to the jdm one. Run a longer vacuum line

I've never tried to run a USDM UIM with a JDM LIM but I don't see why it wouldn't work. My JDM LIM had a threaded hole that I tapped for 3/8" NPT. Then I used a 90 degree barb fitting and ran a hose to it.

I'll give the usdm upper a shot. it all bolts together. and not alot of differance between the two. theres no vac ports traveling between the two. ect... sucks though had the JDM one all pretty and ****... didn't notice the brake issue.

Just to mention, that IF you decide to make a 3/8 NPT hole..The NPT is a "special thread"and NOT the same as an SAE Standard thread.
I found that out quickly.
You need an NPT Tap to make the hole.
