I bought a JDM turbo clip. It's sans AFM and has stickers all over it. So i thought it might have a piggy back computer or standalone but I pulled the carpet back and checked it and it's stock. So, those of you with JDM engines did yours have afms? or is this other unit stock?

 

JDM and USDM motors are the same. All FC's have a AFM from factory.

 

Yep. Perhaps the AFM was previously salvaged, or this car used the super rare HKS Vein Pressure Controller to eliminate it. Of course such a hard to find and much sought after part likely disappeared when the car was cut up.

 

well, it does have a HKS filter. there is a stock looking unit just back from the filter but it's labeled DENSO just like the AFM. i'll get pix tomorrow.

$2190. It could have one judging from the write up i read on HKS america. but i can't find the piggyback box. I gotta do some digging.
