JDM BAC idle & removal
I've got an N374 BAC that came with my JDM S5 13B swap. I read on another thread that N374 has no idle screw. I've read in numerous threads about the BAC helping with idle but is this same thing true for JDM BACs with no idle screw?

Can my JDM BAC be removed with no bad effects on idle?
I'm having poor idle issues, but I don't have power loss. I still get good boost and torque. I've tested the BAC and it's within US FSM resistance. It gives a pop when I apply 12v also. And I've cleaned it with carb cleaner. To test removal can I simply cut some gasket off a sheet to do a temp blockoff.
Here's a link to my thread on poor idle

Any advice is always appreciated

But man is that going to be a pain in the *** cause the TMIC needs to come off to get to those adjustments. I saw a thread where a guy built an air feed from the TB to the turbo out of PVC piping.
This weekend I'll be testing blocking off the BAC, putting in a new thermosensor and giving the TB a once over to make sure everything is set correctly. I might have to get some PVC piping and elbows.
