JDM 91 fc3s GT-X Questions

Hello,

I'm looking at buying a 91 JDM GT-X. The car is a 2+2, was this standard on the GT-X or is it rare?

Also I can't seem to find any info on differences between the JDM and the USDM/CDM fc3s' Does anyone have a link to a page comparing them? I did search but I couldn't get it narrowed down enough to find anything.

Main difference,

Passing cars on 1 way roads. A pain in the *** that's not worth it imo. By a USDM RX7.

Other than that, all parts are available here, except wire harnesses are different.

There are no good condition rx7's anywhere near me and the ones that I have seen are in poor condition and are more money.

?............Where are you in ontario?

There's a few nice ones in the trader right now. One fairly clean 10th annie at Richmond Hill Honda.......they're around - you just have to look.

As far as the 2+2 option I think it was only rare on Infini models....but buy whatever you want. If you like sitting in the right seat to drive then buy the damn RHD one.

Main difference? less emissions crap i believe, different stickers, RHD, owners manual might be in Japanese, you might get some rare aftermarket parts already installed. I f you really cannot find a decent North American FC then import the FC but if you're gonna import then import something HARD to find in CAN/US.

theres a couple of differences.

there are a couple different models in japan, gt-x and gt-r are models, they should all be 2+2 in japan, except the efini.

the emissions are really similar, japan market car has no precat, smaller air pump, and a less complex air control valve, but other than that its the same.
