I just bought an FC that was imported from Japan. It's a 1989 S5 Turbo. Looking up the chassis number, it shows it as a 1989-2012 chassis no., but the trim is shown as "Winning Limited". As far as I know, the Winning Limited was only available for the 1991 model year to celebrate winning Le mans. I looked up other chassis numbers from FCs that were for sale on BeForward (using carvx jp to search the numbers), and the 1991 Infini I looked up came up as a 1991-2012 Infini, so I know my number is likely for a 1989 model year, and it isn't just saying that because 1989 was the start of the S5 chassis

The car is in transit right now, and arrives tomorrow. I saw another thread on the 1991 model year WL having the same green paint as the Infini. I know mine was repainted a pearl white in the past, but I could also see that the engine bay paint was dark, so I can check to see if it's green once the car gets here tomorrow. Does anyone else have any more info I might be able to use? It even has the same wheels as the Winning Limited

On the firewall in the engine bay is a color code for the original paint.

The paint color code translations are available here and other sites.

There are some very knowledge people here to help decoding the VIN, etc.

Thank you. The car arrives tomorrow, but it looks like the engine bay, door handle, and driver side mirror might be that green color that was on the WL and Infini. I'll check the paint code as soon as I'm off work and the car is at my house and update
