Hey guys

My brother's tranny in his 1990 GXL has jammed in reverse, but the shifter itself will only go into 1st and 2nd. Has any else had this problem before and what was the remedy.

sounds like an early mazda gearbox trick - broken selector fork

 

i had the same thind but it wasn't the gearbox it was the clutch slave check it out to
