I guess in some ways it's simply easier to just plug in a brand new aftermarket part than to restore an original. Despite all the effort I've gone to in my restoration, I guess I skimped out there.

I love the lighted key hole! I wonder how many of us still have that feature working?

The only thing I don't like about the red interior is the seats. It's definitely 1980s, that's for sure. Your car is looking awesome, keep it up!
Jerry, I have the 91 Turbo head unit if you want it. CD, amp, etc.

JSense, how long did the car sit before you got it? Did you drain and flush the gas tank? My 7 sat for over a year and the crap in my tank caused all kinds of problems.

it sat for years im sure. i was having problems. when i pulled the pump to replace the clogged inlet sock i had to drain the tank and clean/scrub the tank out.

Sounds like you left the blitz BOV open atmosphere or are you redirecting into intake?

I have the Bliltz BOV and am thinking of re-routing it into the intake.

Your build is looking better everytime.

Its amazing to see a car that over 20 years old but looks like it could have just rolled out the factory! Love the seats too in that color haha. I wish I could find a nice rust free roller to build up and restore like that.

As pretty as it is, and despite all the money and effort you've expended, I doubt you'd get over $5k for her.
Sorry.

If possible financially, that's what I'd do.
You could get a set of rear seats for it too.

You won't get 9 like mentioned, but certainly list it for 9 and see what someone is willing to do. You should have taken the $7500 offer!

Personally speaking,

I really like the red interior. Because of it's near immaculate shape it really looks classy. I'm not one for colour based interiors but I quite like it. It's a shame you have to sell it, but family does come first. I hope if there is any possible way of keeping the vehicle I hope you can.

That was a pretty strong offer you already received. If it is possible, I would just try to prep it for storage and keep it.

However it turns out, good luck. Yours was a very fun build to follow.

Don't put it in storage, it'll go to hell.

I'd hit the $7500 guy back and tell him to make it $8500.
The FC market is really depressed lately.

ive had a LOT of hits today, im sure someone will pick it up. one day and i had 5-6 calls / texts. most people are waiting to sell there car to buy mine.

It would go to hell in storage. rx-7s dont store well, i spent so much time and money fixing her up to perfect running condition. i mean everything works from the clock to the keyhole light. no flooding and starts up fine every time.

such a blast to drive, pulls hard and does not grind going into gears. EVERYONE comments on how nice the car is. but family comes first and the wife wants it gone, me to stop spending money on a car, ect.

pics I took today (most current)
