The J-spec is in - results - first impressions
First - the DIY ported wastegate really works.
PSI in each gear is level at 5-6-6-6-6.
Now I can start on safe fuel & boost control mods.
It's from an automatic so bolting up a lightweight flywheel was a natural.
Now I don't waste precious low-end torque accelerating a 33 lb flywheel.
Wow - turbo power with NA style linear throttle response.
The auto J-spec picks up boost & torque at lower revs.
Pedaling in & out of a drift is way more predictable now.
I plan to get some G-tech numbers soon.

how does that 6 puck engage on a RX7? i had one before on a integra and it was a harsh (but friggin awesome) engagement. getting it to go in 1st was a real pain but flyin through the gears afterwards was amazing. how does it react with a RWD?
