J-Spec motor

I was thinking about switching my motor to a J-spec. Is the swap worth it and what is the difference between the us and jap motors. My friend talked me into the swap, he has a J-spec in his Supra and its pretty bad! Where is the best place to get one.

The Jspec engine has the same HP as the Aspec. They are almost identical other than minor emisson equipement differences.

You would not gain any HP on a T2.

In addition most 12+ year old Jspec rotary engines need rebuilding for long term liveablity.

Is he for real? The only reason you see people swapping to Jspec is because they need a cheap replacement motor, or they are doing an NA to TII swap.
