Question j spec

Alright guys and gals but what exactly are the differences in the regular rotary engine and the j-spec. Are they big or small. Most of u guys will probably tell me to do a search, if so just give me a link. Also how about differences in power (hp). I have a 88 gxl.

I believe they are virtually the same as the US's(I remember there are a few small differences, just not what they are) they are just cheaper than you can usually find here. There is alot more demand in the states than supply. They aren't usually an upgrade except in a NA or if you go with a series 5 for a S4 TII.

HP is almost the same (within a couple of HP for each series respectivly).

The only big difference is lack of a EGR port on the Jspec cars.

Do you know what the HP's are from jspecs? Also, what does not having the EGR port do? Good?Bad? Thanks.
