i think there's something wrong with your tranny... 250 BHP is nothin for a t2 tranny... my na tranny is awesome there...
and if your a drag racer shouldn't you need some different gears anyway?

If you're a drag racer you want a manual tranny. Go practice some more.

try 16 <forum member>, and to correct myself, i'm a bracket racer. i'm consistent with a manual tranny when i don't screw it up. the past two times i lost races because of either shifting into 5th instead of 3rd, or missing 2nd gear.

Well if you put an auto in you'll go into a whole different bracket..........

Learn to drive properly and/or replace your tranny/engine mounts.
They're probably rooted, common cause of shifting into 5th while racing.

wow a whole 3 months more, adn if you keep missing gears you need to learn to shift better. or try to get a short shifter i hear it helps teh 2-3 shift alot better. also get a torque brace frmo Racing beat it should help that too. adn ive never herd a autotranny bolting up for a turbo 2 other than the stock oen from japan.

Missing shifts = practice more! I'm sure you can find an auto... but why? Also, most automatics shift at 5k or 6k - you'd need to do work to convince it to let the engine run up through it's power band.

um... <i don't like >you? You miss shifts, i tell you to practice since you haven't had your license much longer than me and I know I suck, and you call me a <bad name>. You're definately too cool for our advice. Definately switch to an auto you tool.

looks like mr speeder might not be able to shift but he might be well on his way to getting banned. Kid (I am allowed to call you that as I have driven professionally longer than you have been alive) i was going to make some suggestions for you, however the jew comment did me in.

Figure it out on your own.

instead of destroying your rx7's transmission learn how to take your time going from 2nd into thrid instead of jamming it as fast as you can. obviously you have no idea how older manual transmissions shift or you would of figured this out.

Thread edited and closed for flaming.

And gxlspeeder everyone is right, learn to shift, and fix your tranny mounts... even if you have been driving for 5 years (which I doubt) you probably have plenty to learn.

And I best not see comments like you made in this thread, from you again.
