Blueemp301 - the car will see track time. (road course not drag strip)
others - I was having issues finding a good spot to mount the oil cooler up front due to the way I mounted the radiator and intercooler. I will rethink my oil cooler location.
From what I understood I do not want it to sit in the open since air will go around it instead of through it. that is why I wasnt able to find a good location.

Why don't you set it up like an ac condenser? If you have a track car you don't have ac right? And if you go v mount wouldn't you have the area where the rad originally went to make some kind of contraption? Also cold air would be cooler than running hot air across from it. Post pics of what you got please

Spent some time studying BlueTII's vmount and designed something similar. I went to home depot and grabbed some flat aluminum stock, and a 90* angled piece as well. Total cost around $23.
I slotted the angled piece and slid it into where the stock radiator screws in. The aluminum isnt super rigid so the small strap will help pull the radiator away from the engine.

Since I dont have many tools to bend the aluminum I took a small piece of the angled aluminum and bent it to the angle the radiator will sit. It will be simply screwed in.

I never had an issue with my oil temps doing auto-x, hillclimb and laps on a kart track with my oil cooler relocated up at the front grille opening with no fan(s) on it.
I do have an oil temp gauge and temps are highest if I let it idle for long periods of time, but the oil temp is maintained below coolant temps by the radiator fan kicking on, even though air can and does flow right around my front mounted oil cooler.
If I was doing a drift set up where the car spends a lot of time at low speeds with the front facing oblique to the direction of travel, I would most definitely want two stock oil coolers stacked with motorcycle/atv radiator fans on it or a larger, thin aftermarket oil cooler with the same fan(s) on it.
Also, for a drift or track car it is really nice to get the oil coolers back and away from the front and corners where impact is likely. I found out an oil leak will kill your bearings very quickly when a stock turbo oil feed line cracked.
So, it wouldn't be a bad idea to stack the oil cooler(s) directly in front of the radiator and make sure the radiators fan will pull air through.

ya uhh, i want a v-mount kit.. but dont wanna spend any money and im gonna rig up F`in computer fans to my oil cooler... v mount isnt cheap its just the way it is... go front mount or put dual coolers in ur brake ducts.. those stupid *** fans wont do **** when they are getting smashed with all kinds of random highspeed airflow from all directions... they blow generate air flow in a still environment.. dumb thread

Use a T2 hood and put the oil cooler where the stock intercooler went.
Problem solved.
Except it would be a pain to work on the upper intake manifold... and it probably wouldn't cool enough.

I extended the oil cooler lines and just mounted the oil cooler up front.
