It's spring and now my car want start

Need some help diagnosing a "car wont start" issue please. I have been reading this forum for a while now, while the car was up on stands in an unheated garage. I intended to do some work on it, but never got my *** off the warm couch, and now after 4 months it wont crank. In hindsight, I should have not left it so long, but it was running fine before I parked it.
The battery was dead but is now recharged, I left it with low fuel, but just put 5 gal in, and confirmed the fuel pump is working. I have tried cranking it multiple times, and occasionally it will rumble a bit, but will not turn over. I have taken the plugs out and cleaned them, and done a visual check of any obvious items.
Please help, I'm more of an audio installer than a mechanic, and will appreciate any advice.
Thanks

how did it run before storing it?

i would check the fuel filter, fuel injectors, and mass air flow meter. also check for any blown fuses under the hood and under the driverside kick panel.

Sure it's not flooded? Search the forum for resolving a flooding problem...a common problem which can happen if an engine doesn't start right away.

this exact same thing happened to me. all i did to get the car running again was to put a little bit of engine oil thru the lower spark plug hole. she fired right up after that. But next time u store the car i highly recommened storing it with a full tank of fuel and put fuel stabilizer in it and also use fogging oil. it really helps alot

I wil try the oil in the bottom plug thing, when I took the plugs out the bottom 2 were wet with fuel, so its not just flooded, its super flooded. Please check in after tomorrow and I will see how it worked. Thanks LLoyd!
BTW I bought this car last summer, and it cam with a bunch of extra drivetrain and electrical parts. If you need anything that I dont need you are welcome to it.

Thanks

Tried adding oil, this engine is super flooded, any other process to purge the system and get the compression back?
Thanks

if its 89+ hold the pedal to the floor and turn it over, if its a s4 pull EGI fuse and turn over it will pump out the fuel... personally i'd put a towel at the lower spark plug holes if its as flooded as you say and pull egi and lower spark plugs and turn the car over till fuel stops coming out... then put a little oil in the spark plug holes, replace what you took off and try to start it.

I will try the towel and oil process again, when I did it the first time I had a good long sputter and white smoke. I never turned it over without the plugs in. I also noticed a loose injector, the rail is still holding it down, but I can turn it about 15 degrees, is that correct that its not tightened down?

The injectors can be twisted while still in the rails. If they arent leaking your probably good there.

It's back to life, appreciate all the help. it's running quite rough though, cant keep it at an idle, and burns white smoke. I brought it up to operating temperature and ran it for about 15 minutes, and then tried starting it again, and is still needing help. Do I just keep it running till it gets better? I have some time while i'm doing some bodywork, is this a good time to get the injectors rebuilt?
Thanks
