Talking It's all that GTUs guys fault!!!

It just dawned on me, right before I blew this last engine up...RarestRX and I got in a friendly debate that consisted of (once again) NA vs. TII. He jinxed me with all that TII unreliability crap!!!

Either that or I talked too much ****..hehehe go figure!

DAMN YOU N/A BOYS!!!

Yo,

Hey, it's not MY fault you had to keep cranking the boost higher and higher!! *grin* Boost is more addicting than crack! That's what I stay away from it. *wink*

Here's what I wrote back on February 19, 2002 during the TII hoods on NAs thread:

Yeah, I razz 'em about the reliability thing, but they are the tip of the FC sword on the street. They punish V-8's, they embarrass FD's. They eat all the Rice out there. They've got their own style, and it should not be copied or bitten.

I still stand by that. I don't /want/ you guys to blow your motors, I want you to be out there tearing **** up on the street. I just play the reliability card when turbo guys talk smack about NA's. It's a defence mechanism! Heh.

Anyways, sorry you blow'd it up. Two words for you: Street Port!! *grin*

It was street ported and all that jazz...What it was lacking was proper fuel management. Byan (BNR) stayed on me about fuel management so I didnt blow up one of his creations...did I listen? NOPE!

This next engine, Im gonna pay a little more attention to the warnings of those around me.

I think what blew it up was the TID i had JUST put on it. I had the boost at 12 psi BEFORE the TID mod. Then on a cool night with a few more PSi's from the TID, I didnt think to readjust the boost...POP.

Im gonna take my time on this one and have something to fiddle with through Christmas..or as long as it takes. Im gonna get all the proper fuel management and what not before I crank this one back up.

Yo,

Yeah man, that's what scares me about the turbo thing...you need to stay ontop of it or it'll bite you in the ***.

The only TII I would buy would be a fully sorted out Haltech with maps, big *** injectors, blah blah blah. Something turnkey. Like 1FastT2's monster. That would seriously be my only choice for a TII.

Or a totally bone stock one...but how long is THAT gonna stay that way? For about 2 seconds, that's what! I'd rather buy a TII that has already snowballed into something huge that gradually build up and pay for it all...
