auto suspension?
i bougtht my 86 rx7 gsx and noticed it had auto suspension. sport and normal. does switching make a big difference? is this air suspension? and the people i bought it from put new shocks on last yea, could this affect if it works anymore?

If the replaced them with the right shocks they should still work. You should notice a difference between the two settings if they are functioning correctly. It is not air suspension, it is a setting to make them soft or stiff.
