i just rebuilded my engine and i need to tune the air/fuel mixture... idle speed... everything.. TPS.. i don't know much about tunning and timing and all that stuff... i am concerned about the engine though because like the catalyic converter is getting red hot when the engine is at operating tempeture and i take it around the block.. i don't knwo wut it is.. any suggestions? and also... when the engine is below about 1500 rmps... it starts shaking liek crazy... i've tryed to set the timming.. and i got it to the best i could get it to.. bad injectors?... or wut?... also.. starting the car is really hard.. it floods right away... and once it shuts down when it's hot.. it just won't start again... wut could that be?
so simple talk... i need all the steps to fine tune the engine and everything that should be adjusted

Sounds like your running very very rich, and/or misfiring ... Check the o2 sensor, plugs, wires, timing like you said you need a timing light and not sure about the procedure never done it. Sounds like there could also be something unplugged, i'll wait for the pros to come in.

If you need to tune fuel get an rtek 2.1 if you have an s4 t2, if you have an s5 t2 get an s-afc.

s4, N/A, and everything is stock... i don't think the cat would be clogged since it's new, but i do believe it is running hella rich and timing is off.. how do i adjust fuel mixture?
