issue with 2nd gen bogging down after gets warm

im having issues with my 2nd gen bogging down. I have noticed that after it runs for a bit the car will at random start sputtering out, and acting like it isnt getting enough fuel. I replaced the fuel filter, thinking it could be getting clogged. but know i have noticed if im driving and it starts having the issues if i turn the car off, and then restart it while driving it seams to reset somthing and starts to run fine again, till it has the issue again. I am thinking possibly the ecu is bad.does anyone have any ideas?

Are you throwing any check engine lights? Sounds to me like your car is going into "limp mode" search that term on here for a more thorough explanation of it. Usually this is caused by a bad Oil Metering Pump, on your s5 the pump is electric and MUST be on there if you are using the stock ECU. A bad OMP can potentially fry your ECU.
