Irratic idle and exhuast popping

Irratic idle and exhuast popping
hey guys, My rex has an irratic idle... whenever I am driving and then come to a stop it almost chokes out and then it gets a burst and the rpms go to like 1.5 and then back to .5 while fluctuating from there... and when I release the accelerater and brake my exhuast is popping almost like a back fire but not as loud.
I am thinking that it has to do with my gas/air mix but I am not sure.. let me know what you think and meybe some things I might can adjust to get it right.
