Intermittent no start was not the FPR after all....

....However, I did notice on replacement that there was no fuel pressure on the rail shortly after trying to start and on installation of new FPR she fired right up...just wondering if it could be my fuel check valve back at the tank malfunctioning?....the fuel pump runs properly so it shouldnt be that....what else guy's...?

You never know- if you had enough crud in the system to screw up the FPR, it could have messed with some other things too....Did this car sit for a long period?

With the fuel pump check connector jumpered and the key to ON, the fuel pump should run til the battery runs down. When it runs, fuel is continuously flowing back into the tank. If this is so with your car.....you should be able to remove the RETURN LINE while the pump is a pumpin and fuel should flow out big time. Does this happen with you car? Fuel flow out the return line from the engine??????
