Intermittent fuel cut?!?!?

I've been noticing lately on my '91 N/A that I've been getting an intermittent fuel cut and it seems to be getting more persistent. Sometimes around turns (left or right), the entire engine cuts out instantaneously for like a second or 2, then kicks back on. Earlier tonight under full throttle, it happened around 6-7000 rpms, then a minute later around 3000 rpms at WOT. Sometimes it's only a stumble.
I'm guessing either:
Fuel Filter
Fuel Pump
Injector(s)
I have 10,000 miles "on" the fuel filter
I pulled the fuel pump and cleaned the screen 2000 miles ago (which was actually already clean)
As for the injectors, all I know is that "visually" they were clean at the tips and I ran a strong detergent-based injector cleaner a while back just in case they were dirty. Of course, they haven't been professionally cleaned and it's still possible for one or more to be dirty/ faulty.
I just figured that it might be something else. Would a faulty fuel pump do this? I've never experienced the feeling of a faulty pump yet. Also, whta's the recommnded change interval for a fuel filter? I figured my Mazda OEM one I bought would be good for longer than 6 months.

Yes, I do tend to *flame suit on* but if it helps, I've only seen the gas light like 2-3 times in the last 10,000 miles. This is why I'm starting to believe that it might possibly be the fuel pump. Most of the time, I fill up when I'm at the 1/4 or 1/8th mark.
BTW it happens even on a half tank.

Very good call!!!
I've had slight problems with it from time to time. Maybe it's time for a new one.
I'm gonna look into it. I wonder where I could find one for cheap though...

The only way I can confirm about the baffles is when I looked in the gas tank when I had the fuel pump out. I did not see any rusting whatsoever anywhere (clean and shiny). Of course, I was only looking through the hole with a flashlight where the fuel pump went......can't think of any better way to check it.
To confirm the TPS just unplug it and go drive, for a few days. Don't wory, the ECU will default. This will atleast let you know if the cut-out is indeed the ECU going in and out of closed loop.
