Intermitent flashers
My turn signals and hazards are mulfunctioning. I've looked through the archives and faq and have not seen my issue addressed. If I missed a post, please re-direct me. No good reason to re-create the wheel.
Issue: Turn signal relay will energize, lights will turn on, but will not "flash" 90% of the time. When they do flash, it is only a couple of times, then they stop and the relay remains energized until the signal lever is returned to center. Hazard switch energizes both relays, neither one "flashes".
What I've done: I have pulled the CPU and found several cold solder points on all three boards and have re-soldered them. (Now the horns work, and several other odd noises have gone away.)
Next steps: I found the portions of the manual that indicate what pins should be hot when the turn signal is activated. voltage does not apear to be the problem since the relay is energizing and the lights turning on, but if needed I can post actual voltages.
Questions: Does anyone have a proper schematic of the signal light system? I've looked over the electrial diagram in the repair manuel, and it is not quite detailed enough to make heads or tails of the timing/flip-flop circuit.

Quick follow up. Re-assembled the cpu, warmed the car up and the signals work... every time. Prior test was w/ the key in aux. Could the differance between battery voltage and altenator voltage (+-2v) be enough to stop the flip flop circuit from working?
