Interior setups?

Hello. I have an 88 gxl n/a. The interior is not terrible but it definitely isnt even close to good. Please Tell me what youve got on your fc and post pics if possible. My goal is to make it really clean (meaning ; no cheesy stick ons and what not). I really want a stripped interior that is still comfortable for a daily driver. Im pretty sure i know what im gonna do, but please post pics so i can get some other ideas before i start to gut my car. Thnxs yall.

make it clean?

well you could get the replacement center console thats made of carbon fiber and paint it black. you would also get the replacement top vents that are made out of the same material, cut some slots and paint them black.

i like carbon fiber and i like the look, but too much of it is something i would like to avoid. maybe some aftermarket seats? or just a temporary fix: some seat covers?

it depends on what you really would like to do.

i like the interior on my 88 n/a vert, and there are certain things i would like to change (mainly brand new door panels and other plastics...keep dreamin...) but i make do with it and i try not to break any more of it.

Most of the trim out there is 20 years old and has been baked in the sun and abused for that long. New trim from the dealer is a whole other story. It's soft and flexible. You'd have to work hard to crack it.

As aaron cake said new stuff wont crack, and old stuff only cracks if you abuse it.
