The last cartech turbo kit i saw on ebay i belive went over 1K. Hrmmm was quite a while ago that i saw it though so i may be mistaken.

I hope that's a joke. Under no normal circumstance does coolant ever come out of the overflow. In the rare case that the cooling system may overpressurize and shoot coolant out of the relief hole in the cap, the fuse box is properly covered and it's very unlikely that coolant could ever get under the cap. Even if it did, a few mA of leakage current between fuses (which really wouldn't happen anyway since all the fuses are already at a common 12V) would not be a problem. I guess in time corrosion could start to form if it happens often enough, but under those conditions you have much more to worry about then slight corrosion on your fuses...

The overflow cap has a vent tube that points away from the fuse block...
