Interesting clutch problem, a little help guys.

well i just got the fidanza aluminum flywheel with a 6 puck clutch and a heavy duty pp i installed everything and it all went smooth untill i started the car and drover it around the block the clutch slipped all the time some weird sounds here and there so i took it back out and this is what i got any ideas?

from the looks of it its like is not pressing down all around the clutch.

Wow, that baby got burnt up around the block. When you bolt the pressure plate up with the clutch, does it have to but sucked down with the bolts? There should be about a 1/4" gap that before the pressure plate is bolted down. If there isn't a gap when bolting down the pressure plate, you've got some incorrect parts. Also, new flywheels and pressure plates are usually coated in oil to prevent rusting, the parts should be washed with brake clean before use. If you didn't do that, then you may be able to salvage the parts with some sanding although those frictions look pretty cooked.

just go to high rpm and burn it a bit????

i'll try to clean it off but as far as the space i think your right i think they sent me the wrong parts

well i was looking at the parts they sell online i think the clutch is the right one but i got the wrong pp it looks to be a turbo pp not the N/A one grrrrrrrr

if its not the right plate... na vs turbo, it wont bolt up
