Actually, I do. The mailing list from the last groupbuy is still alive and kicking, and acting as a support list as well.
To subscribe, email majordomo@team140.net with the text "subscribe microtech (your_email_address)" (without the quotes or paretheses) in the body of the message, then respond to the confirmation message. Email the list at microtech@team140.net and introduce yourself so I know you're there.

Yo,
I've got a naive question:
How hard is it to smog with a Microtech? Can you set all the values back to stock? Stick on the old AFM?
I live in the People's Republic of California, so it's very important to know.
Thanks in advance!

According to federal emissions regulations, the stock ECU is an emissions control device - therefore, no aftermarket EMS is legal, and the Microtech is only for off-road use.
With that said, it'll probably be pretty hard to pass Kalifornika smog. A sniffer isn't a huge problem, as you can simply lean out the map and toss on a cat and a 'Vette smog pump. If there's a visual, tho, you may well be SOL. Typical installation results in removal of emissions control devices (split air, port air, EGR, etc). You could possibly keep all of your stock stuff and spend a weekend getting it ready for smog, but that's some work.
Put it this way - while we can't condone it in any way, with enough cunning, skill, and palm grease, it might be possible.
