intercooler question

Im looking into buying a TII, the one im going to see tomorrow is quoted at 230 hp, i dont know if its at the wheel or not, but my main question is; how much would a front mount intercooler increase this hp if it is indeed 230hp? I would also like to know what kind of questions I should ask. This is would be my 3rd RX-7 if I end up buying so i know a little bit about rotaries, but just in case i forget, can you guys help out with some questions? Thanks alot

It might give you a few, you get 1 horse for every 10 degrees lower intake temp, but the main deal is insurance for running higher boost or a higher cfm upgrade turbo. I bought a front mount not for horse but so I could run 14psi (with the right fuel mods).

ok, cool, how much psi does the stock TII run? 7 to 9 right? this TII has hks intake filter, k&n breather, apex exhaust and hks blow off valve. It sounds like a reasonable hp increase; from 200(stock) to 230, right?

Series 4 runs like 5.5 and series 5 runs 7.5

It seems reasonable that he would have 230 to the fly.
