Intercooler piping setup

Im tryin to sort stuff out, for when I go FMIC. Im gonna be buying an ebay Intercooler, either SSautochrome or xsturbo. Now for piping, I will have a BNR Stage 3, a TO4B, which from what Ive heard has a 2'' outlet. I figure I will use 2.5 piping with a 2''-2.5'' stepup coupler. Then another at the IC which has 3'' inlet/outlet. From the IC to the Greddy Elbow, which from what Ive read is 2.75'', I will run 2.75'' pipe all the way. Does this sound like a sound setup, or should I run 3'' all the way from the IC to the Elbow to avoid using a reducer? This is my first home fabbed FMIC and wasnt sure if having those step-up elbows would cause any sort of turbulance. But I guess 2 small stepups is better than going straight from 2'' turbo outlet to a 3'' pipe, or am I wrong? Thanks

The easiest thing to do is probably to run 2.5" piping everywhere and use silicone adapters to make your size changes.

Is that not going to hurt when I hit the IC and it steps down from 3'' back to 2.5''? Well I guess not too much. That will be the only bottleneck in the system, which wont be much I suppose. I might just do that.
