Hi all.

I am running a T04 turbo and am after geting a FMIC somone has given me a stock Nissan Skyline IC it looks quite big but i think it will fit well in between the bumper and rad.

Has anyone done this mod with a skyline IC? do you think it may be to big?

 

is it from a R32 or R33 Skyline GTR?? or a lesser GTS-T model?

the GTR intercoolers are ok for upto 450HP then they cant seem to flow enough air thru them. if you aim for under 450HP then all is fine and dany, if you want more than 450HP then you'll need to find something else.

Its off a R33. So its not as good as it looks?

Is it the core that lets it down or is it just not a good flowing IC?

 

I have just seen a picture of the IC on the Soul Assasin car, That look exactly like the R33 Gtr Ic i have. Will this have a diffrent core or somthing?

 

alot of of firms make replacement intercoolers for the R32/32 GTR Skylines, they are the same length and height but they are generally around 4 inches thick, this is probably what soul assasin has in his car.

 

I see what you mean. i have been looking at skyline tuners sites and they are saying the same thing.

I have also come across a Apexi Skline Ic upgrade, this is a 3 row core which increase flow by 40% and is only £400 (exchange) which makes it a cheep FMIC.
